| Take the A458 road from Shrewsbury towards Bridgnorth. After passing through Cross Houses continue on this road until you come to a small
crossroads with a signpost for Cound to the right. Take this turning and cross the pretty white river bridge - turning right after crossing it.
Go to the top of the hill and turn right at the 'T' junction in Cound and then first left. This road will bring you into the hamlet of Acton Pigot.
The first farm you pass on the right is called 'Goldings' and the second is Acton Pigot Bed & Breakfast and Self Catering. |

| From the Shrewsbury ring road take the A49 towards Church Stretton and Ludlow. Pass through Bayston Hill and Dorrington. After crossing
the railway bridge there is a long straight. At the end of the straight turn left for Longnor and Acton Burnell. Follow the signs for Acton Burnell
and when in the village turn left at the cross roads. At the bottom of the village turn right for Kenley and then first left after half a mile.
You will come into Acton Pigot after a further half mile. Acton Pigot Bed & Breakfast and Self Catering is on the left just after you enter
the hamlet. |
